Adam Kolkin's Eagle Scout Project

Here is the final result of my Eagle Scout Project.  I had 18 volunteers working for three days to complete all the work.  The before and after pictures of the girls’ dressing room are on the top and the boys’ are on the bottom.  Thank you so much to all who supported me during this LONG process, and my Eagle Scout Project is finally complete!

Project Update

Hi,

For those of you who helped raise funds for my Eagle Scout project and have been frantically updating Tumblr every five seconds waiting on end for me to post something, well the wait is over:

The school district unexpectedly pulled my project the day before it was scheduled to take place, which was March 31st and April 1st.  It then took two dreadfully long months for the “head” of “facilities” at the “district” to sign off on it.  After this obscene delay, my project has finally been approved and will now take place June 15th and 16th.  Unfortunately, as school ends on June 14th, none of the seniors will ever get to bask in the glorious beautification of these quarters.  Now, their departure will perpetually be saturated with melancholy and forever be void from joyousness.

Thanks to those who stuck around for this ride.  Your reward is before and after pictures to be posted next weekend.

You’ve very welcome and a huge shout out to you for supporting me!

Thank you ya-el for supporting my Eagle Scout project with your wristband order.  I really appreciate it!

Let the Celebration Begin!

I have officially raised the $1,423.00 that I need to complete my Eagle Scout Project! Besides thanking all my family and friends who have donated, I must give a huge thank you to all my Twitter and Tumblr followers who supported me by purchasing I HEART THE ARTS wristbands.  I am truly amazed at the generosity of those who I have never met before, and you will always hold a special place in my heart.  Thank you so much!
I will continue to accept any additional orders for the wristbands as a bit more money will allow me to add something else to the rooms if I decide to, but all orders must be postmarked by January 31st.  Any additional money left over at the completion of my project will be donated to a charity of my choice.
Now comes the equally tough part of finding the days to start and finish my project as show choir competition season will soon be here.  I will keep you posted with before and after pictures, but in the mean time, you can continue to follow me on Twitter @Adam_Kolkin.  Thank you again!

A shout out to SBDGirl188 for purchasing wristbands.  They are in the mail!

Show choir retreat was crazy! I woke up with a headache, a wedding ring, and no memory of the previous night.

First off, a shout out to sweetpea7s for buying wristbands and supporting me.

Secondly, thank you all so much for following my project! I really do appreciate it.
I will be off Tumblr for a few days because I have a late show choir rehearsal tomorrow and then we go to a three day retreat.  See ya next week?
